Kurnick named Penske Corp. president

Penske Corp. has named Robert Kurnick president, replacing Richard Peters. Kurnick, who will be elected to the company's board, will also continue in his position as general counsel of United Auto Group Inc., Penske Corp. said in a statement. Peters will stay on the board and become the managing partner of Penske's newly formed private equity business, Birmingham Capital Partners.
