Web-based payroll and workforce solutions provider Ultimate Software has announced that transportation service provider Tankstar USA Inc. has seen a one-year return on its investment in its UltiPro solution.

UltiPro automates tasks that used to be handled by HR/payroll personnel.

The system also allows users to quickly compile reports that track labor on a real-time basis. This is significant in cases where drivers are given minimum compensation regardless of whether they are assigned routes, Ultimate said. The solution allowed Tankstar to better utilize its drivers.

Tankstar employs approximately 1,000 workers throughout 40 offices.
