Morgan Truck Body names new president, COO

Dan DesRochers comes from Lean Operations, where he held executive positions with General Electric, United States Can Co., and Federal Signal Corp.

Morgan Truck Body has named Dan DesRochers as its new president and COO.

DesRochers will manage the growth of Morgan Truck Body as the company enters its 70th anniversary year in 2022 and further secures its foothold as the North American leader in light- and medium-duty truck body manufacturing and upfit for dry freight, refrigerated, platform, and custom-built commercial bodies.

Prior to joining Morgan Truck Body, DesRochers served as VP of Lean Operations, responsible for EHS, Lean and Continuous Improvement, at JB Poindexter & Co, a privately held diversified manufacturing company, and as COO for Morgan Olson, also part of the JB Poindexter & Co portfolio of companies.

DesRochers holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Wisconsin and brings a wealth of industrial experience and specialization in Lean Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management. He held executive positions with General Electric, United States Can Co. and Federal Signal Corp.
