Fast food systems distributor Willow Run Foods has switched to Cadec's Mobius TTS for its fleet management needs. According to an announcement from Cadec Global, Willow Run made the change primarily due to Cadec's e-logging capabilities, its ability to collect more detailed data on vehicles and driver behavior, and its ability to convey data wirelessly from truck cabs back to the yard in real time.
The company is using Mobius TTS to track vehicle location, driver behaviors such as speeding and excessive idling, and delivery details. Willow Run has also integrated Mobius TTS with its routing and driver payroll applications so that they can automatically exchange data to further automate supply chain management.
Willow Run director of IT, Michael Albertson, noted that the company has been tracking Cadec products for the past two years. "We really liked what we saw,” said Albertson. "Cadec is constantly updating its technology and introducing add-on packages. The interface for drivers is very intuitive and easy to learn. And their reputation for customer service and support is outstanding. While the product capabilities were most important, we also liked the intangibles.”
According to Albertson, the implementation across the company's full fleet of nearly 100 vehicles took only two weeks and was problem-free. "The Cadec team was fantastic,” said Albertson. "At Willow Run, we pride ourselves on customer satisfaction. When a vendor adheres to that same principal, we know it will be a great long-term relationship.”
Serving customers in 14 Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern states, Willow Run provides one-stop-shopping for chain restaurant operators, including Wendy's, Boston Market, Arby's, Quizno's, Popeye's Chicken & Biscuits and Sonic.
