Fleet appoints director of fleet maintenance

Dan Carrano has been named director of fleet maintenance for LTL carrier A. Duie Pyle.

Carrano will be based at the company’s headquarters in West Chester, PA.

Carrano will be responsible for specifying and negotiating the purchase of fleet equipment and for leading the team of technicians. Pyle currently operates 12 maintenance facilities which perform the majority of routine and preventative maintenance on a fleet of 760 power units and 1672 trailers.

Carrano has been with Pyle since May 2011, when he joined the company as director of CSA compliance.
