J J Keller & Associates Inc has introduced Speed & Space Management, an updated training kit that shows drivers practical techniques they can use to reduce the chance of accidents. The kit covers how to manage space on all sides of a vehicle; the relationship between vehicle length and following distances; effects of speed on field of vision; and braking distances. It also covers challenges posed by weather, night driving, and city driving, and discusses the impact speed has on maintenance costs.
A videotape with new footage provides drivers with insight and practical demonstrations. Accompanying the video are 10 employee handbooks, an instructor's guide, a training log and 10 wallet cards, and two awareness posters.
