Pressure Systems International has opened a new, expanded research and development facility supporting the company's commitment to developing tire inflation technologies to reduce truck fleet cost per mile.

The new 4,000-square-foot facility in Mathis TX has the capacity to house the company's Technology Tractor and Trailer which is outfitted with wheel end computer data recorders that are able to give a true picture of the dynamics of tire inflation in actual road travel conditions. The facility also has a lab equipped to recreate over-the-road scenarios. An internal web-based video system enables remote monitoring of on-going product test banks.
