Dynamic Systems Inc announces a PTI labeling system designed to provide food processors the ability to conform to GS-1 Standards and be PTI (Produce Traceability Initiative)-compliant. The system is intended for growers, packers, shippers, distributors, and cold storage personnel.
The PTI Label Printing System is designed for companies that are not ready to install a full production management and labeling system, but want to print PTI-compliant labels.
Dynamic Systems now offers a complete label printing system. The system will produce a PTI case or pallet label; all that is needed is a computer. Then, when the user is ready to upgrade to the next SIMBA module, the printer and label design will incorporate into the new system. As an added benefit, Dynamic Systems is committed to keeping users up-to-date on any new PTI requirements. The system comes with a mid-duty-cycle label printer, PTI-compliant label, software, two hours of training, labels, and ribbons.
Designed to process in bulk (similar or same products into constant-weight cartons), an integrated SIMBA system gives the user complete traceability of product from receiving to shipping. Cartons or pallets can be stored and tracked by location within a warehouse, cooler, or freezer. The food traceability software is configurable for growers, packers, shippers, and distributors. The van loading feature not only saves time in the shipping process, but it also eliminates charge-backs from customers as it confirms shipments by carton.
