Key takeaways

  • GO Nano BLE loggers track individual pallets or zones, giving fleets precise visibility into perishable shipments.
  • Data recorded every five minutes helps identify cold chain breaks and supports HACCP compliance.
  • LED indicators and the mobile app make it easy to locate pallets with potential temperature issues.

Copeland recently launched its GO Nano BLE temperature monitoring solution. The company, which offers sustainable climate solutions, designed the logger to measure individual pallets or temperature zones for high-value, temperature-sensitive shipments in the perishable goods supply chain.

The GO Nano BLE solution connects via Bluetooth low energy (LE) to GO Nano Gateways or the Oversight Connect mobile app, providing monitoring throughout transit. By capturing data for each pallet or zone, the solution helps shippers and carriers make informed accept-or-reject decisions, reducing waste and protecting sensitive cargo.

The logger records data every five minutes, giving timely insights into shipment conditions. This visibility supports compliance with standards such as Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), helps identify potential breaks in the cold chain, and enables more efficient management of refrigerated shipments. Its bright color scheme and LED indicators, controlled through the mobile app, make it easy to locate parcels or pallets that may require attention.

“The cost-effective GO Nano BLE logger is built to withstand the rigorous demands of cold chain logistics and was designed with flexibility and scalability in mind to cater to individual temperature monitoring needs across multiple use cases and commodity types,” Amy Childress, global VP of monitoring for Copeland, said. “This solution ensures reliability and optimal performance in any logistic or shipment scenario.”
