Airclic has released Food Perform, a Software-as-a-Service product that the company said will improve delivery and speed payment processing for carriers in the food distribution industry.
Formerly called 20/20 Delivery for Food Distribution, it can improve supply chain visibility, eliminate paperwork and remove manual data entry processes, Airclic said.
Among the benefits of Food Perform are real-time operational reports; graphical dashboards with map views of business operations; increased rates of accurate and on-time deliveries and pick-ups; ability to process payments and invoices in the field; perform load confirmation; and enhance transparency for customers, according to the developer.
“This product brings an advanced level of visibility into each step of the foodservice supply chain,” said Rick Pontin, CEO. “Food Perform will revolutionize the industry’s ability to automate existing processes to drive superior business performance.”
