Wright Media LLC, hopes to bring truck driver recruiting into the new era with the introduction of TruckerJobs the App, designed to reach millions of users of Apple iPhones and other Android smartphones.

“The evolution of driver recruiting is definitely in the use of smartphones. Every major market segment in the country from retail giants to the automobile industry to job marketplace companies are seeing unbelievable results by reaching people on their smartphones,” said Wright Media’s CEO, Kenny Wright.

TruckerJobs the App is available on over 470 different phone types. Wright says that within days of TruckerJobs the App’s July release hundreds of drivers had already downloaded the app and submitted driver applications to the select carriers who were a part of Wright’s TruckerJobs the App initial launch.

“Drivers everywhere are using smartphones, so why not use it as a recruiting tool?” Wright asked. “It just makes sense. Think about this: within a few clicks, a driver can be on the phone talking with a recruiter, all because of seeing the free app on his/her phone.”

Wright anticipates that “tens of thousands” of drivers will utilize the app within the next few weeks. For more information visit the http://www.TruckerJOBSapp.com.
