Queclink launches AI-powered CV5000 dashcam to enhance fleet safety and compliance

Queclink Wireless Solutions recently launched the CV5000, an AI-powered, dual-facing dashcam designed to enhance fleet safety and compliance across the U.S. commercial fleet sector. The device supports up to two additional cameras, providing expanded visibility and flexibility for complex video telematics applications.

“The CV5000 is a high-performance, all-in-one dashcam that has been developed to cope with the diverse requirements of the commercial fleet sector,” said Chris Diaz, director of business development at Queclink Wireless Solutions. “It builds on the success of the CV200, launched at the beginning of last year, with significant enhancements in terms of camera options, AI functionality, positioning accuracy, and system integration.”

The dashcam includes ADAS, DMS, and BSD features for real-time danger detection, along with low-light performance and tracking accuracy. Optional CAN bus integration allows for deeper insight into vehicle performance, while dual MicroSD storage supports up to 1TB of video data. 

DAT launches Carrier Management Suite to streamline broker access to qualified carriers

DAT Freight & Analytics recently launched Carrier Management Suite, a carrier-qualification tool integrated into the DAT One load board to help brokers determine which carriers can access their loads based on authority, insurance, and other factors. The platform includes qualification settings and company profiles, giving brokers a centralized source of carrier information and insights while enabling carriers to highlight their services and telematics capabilities.

“Carrier Management Suite is philosophically and technologically different from other authentication systems on the market that require brokers to bounce among multiple systems and platforms, and can filter out carriers that might otherwise meet a broker’s needs,” said Kary Jablonski, DAT VP, Trucker Tools, and broker growth. 

The tool integrates Trucker Tools data, allowing brokers to search carriers by ELD/telematics status and on-time performance while providing carriers with enhanced visibility. Carrier Management Suite is part of DAT One’s broader security and fraud-prevention tools, including stronger login authentication and identity verification processes.
