BeyondTrucks recently launched RateAgents, expanding its portfolio of embedded AI capabilities for dispatch planning and management. The company, which provides a platform for AI-powered dispatch planning and management for operationally complex fleets, developed RateAgents to help carriers manage complex rate tables using generative AI.
With RateAgents, users are able to describe rate logic in plain language and automatically convert it into working software within the BeyondTrucks platform. Users can test outputs before deploying them into rate tables, reducing reliance on spreadsheets, custom code, or standalone rating engines.
The initial release focuses on fuel surcharges (FSC), addressing variations in how carriers and shippers calculate fuel-related pricing. RateAgents is designed to reduce manual effort and enable non-technical users to handle rate logic that previously required engineering support.
