Prophesy Transportation Solutions has released the latest edition of its fuel optimization software, Dispatch v5.6, which generates optimized fuel plans for dispatched loads, electronically sending them to a driver's cellphone or onboard computer, the company said. The update is free to all customers enrolled in the Prophesy software maintenance (SIPP) programs.

“Prophesy saves trucking companies an average of six to eight cents per gallon, or an estimated $1,000 per year per truck, with our industry-preferred FuelLogic solution,” said Prophesy president & CEO Edward Forman. “The current and projected rising fuel prices have made this component a critical addition for many of our customers. Full integration within Dispatch adds further convenience and functionality to our total trucking solution.” www.mile.com
