Elogex releases new logistics software
Elogex Inc., a provider of electronic commerce logistics services, has released a new software package called Supplier Logistics Management (SLM).
Elogex’s SLM package is designed for retailers, distributors and manufacturers as a tool to help gain competitive advantages and cost savings by controlling and sharing inbound logistics operations.
The management of inbound logistics represents the next significant strategic initiative for leading shippers, Elogex said. With SLM, shippers and their suppliers benefit from improved order management, enhanced supply chain visibility and event management, tighter vendor compliance, increased supplier communication, and new levels of shipment optimization and process automation, the company said.
