The company, which manufactures commercial trailers—including refrigerated options—will combine its trailer business with hydrogen-powered truck distribution.

This integrated approach helps fleets streamline purchasing and operations while reducing emissions. The Xcient Fuel Cell truck produces zero tailpipe emissions and runs on hydrogen. Hyundai has delivered over 3,500 fuel-cell commercial vehicles globally, including more than 250 heavy-duty Xcient units. Deployments include 35 trucks in California and 21 trucks supporting operations at Hyundai’s Metaplant facility in Georgia.

“Our focus is on delivering more integrated and flexible transportation solutions that empower our customers and advance the industry,” Sean Kenney, CEO of Hyundai Translead, stated. “We’re not only improving operational efficiency and enabling the use of advanced technologies, but we’re also building a more cohesive approach that opens the door to future possibilities.”
