Fleet Manager Professional, an event-based dispatch and freight brokerage software system for integrated fleet and logistics management, has updated its communication module to handle a variety of communications services with a single interface, according to the Canadian developer Trans+Plus Systems Corp.

The updated communication module automates messaging and tracking, while increasing data accuracy and reducing data entry time, providing dispatch and operations with tools to make more informed decisions based on real time information.

“The industry wants more options. As a Canadian leader, we need to offer that,” says Dave Wright, president & CEO of Trans+Plus. “Not only do we offer integration to solutions from Shaw Tracking, Qualcomm, PeopleNet and BSM Wireless, but our communications module actually provides a single interface to multiple communication systems. This allows our customers to utilize a mixture of mobile communication vendors for their fleets.”
