RLS Logistics has completed plans for expanding its Malaga NJ warehouse facility, designed to enhance its storage and service offerings to frozen and refrigerated food manufacturers, distributors, and retailers. Groundbreaking for the new expansion took place in January with the opening slated for June 2009.

The expansion will add 4,000 new pallet positions, bringing to 19,000 the number of pallet positions available at the Malaga facility. This is the third phase of a companywide expansion plan that sets the pace for future growth. The company also has an 18,500-pallet position facility in Pittston PA and a 4,500-pallet position managed facility in Vineland NJ.
