Geotab Vitality pilot programs show gains in fleet safety, fuel efficiency, and ROI

Geotab reports that its Geotab Vitality early pilot results show improved safety, fuel efficiency, and ROI across fleets in the U.S., Canada, and U.K. The program uses behavioral science and gamification to encourage safer driving habits through positive reinforcement.

FleetFusion launches SecureFusion blockchain standard for verified fleet video evidence

FleetFusion recently launched SecureFusion, an open industry standard designed to verify whether commercial fleet video evidence has been tampered with using cryptographic validation. The system anchors video hashes and metadata to public blockchains to provide independent, vendor-neutral verification of dashcam footage.

“Fleet video is increasingly becoming the deciding factor in insurance claims, regulatory cases, and court proceedings,” Simon Marsh, FleetFusion CEO, said. “But until now, there has been no neutral way for anyone outside the platform to confirm that a clip has or hasn't been tampered with. SecureFusion changes that. It moves the trust anchor from ‘the vendor says so’ to ‘the public blockchain confirms it’—and we're releasing it as an open standard precisely because evidence integrity should never be the property of a single company.”

SecureFusion addresses the prior reliance on platform-controlled trust by enabling anyone to confirm video authenticity without depending on the originating system. The standard is open and intended for adoption across telematics providers, insurers, regulators, and fleet operators.

Spotter AI expands trucking platform with updates to drivers, recruiting, and freight tools

Spotter AI recently revealed four major updates across its logistics platform, expanding tools for drivers, recruiting, and freight intelligence. The updates build on its existing Sentinel safety platform and Spotter TMS system, aiming to streamline dispatch, hiring, communication, and freight analytics. The company introduced free tools including Spotter Driver, Spotter CRM, Spotter Lens, and Spotter Load Board to improve operational visibility and workflow efficiency across trucking operations.
