Opex Corporation recently won the 2026 ASRS Innovation of the Year Award by SupplyTech Breakthrough. The company, which provides automation solutions for warehouse, document, and mail operations, was recognized for its multi-temperature zone cold storage solution for automated warehouse fulfillment systems.

The award highlights Opex’s integration of cold storage capabilities into its Perfect Pick and Infinity automated storage and retrieval systems through a partnership with cold chain commerce company Peltier. The solution enables ambient, refrigerated, and frozen products to be stored and fulfilled within a single ASRS environment.

SupplyTech Breakthrough recognized the system for enabling multi-temperature storage without requiring separate HVAC zones, heat barriers, or dedicated facilities. The approach allows customers in grocery, pharmaceutical, and life sciences markets to manage temperature-controlled inventory within existing automation infrastructure.
